JOB DESCRIPTION
Blade Runners is looking for someone with unique talents to be a general department manager.
We are currently searching for a person who can manage our day to day operations of five to eight crews. This is a great opportunity for a professional who is interested in a career position with growth potential. We offer full benefits, paid time off, paid vacation and a 401k plan.
Responsibilities:
- Creating the daily/weekly/monthly work schedule for up to 8 crews
- Work as a liaison with sales staff to production to implement sold work
- Providing clear, concise work order directions to production staff.
- Purchase ,storage and distribution of all materials related to landscape, tree and agronomic operation.
- Ability to interact with clients to ensure quality/safety levels are delivered at cost
- Ability to estimate and sell work
- Building an outstanding production team by working with employees to build and support a team environment.
Experience requirements:
- Expert knowledge and experience in at least one of the following fields: Tree Care, Lawn Care (agronomy), Landscape installation. Certified Arborist, prefer horticultural degree with business minor from a well respected school.
- Plus items. Bi-lingual, Certified arborist, Certified pest applicator, Degree in related field.
- Computer knowledge: Some Microsoft Excel, Word, and the ability to produce work orders on a computer.
