- Add
blooming perennials such daylilies, redbeckia,
bleeding
hearts and astilbe to landscape
- Continue to fertilize
you lawn and apply summer broadleaf weed
control application
July:
- Harvest vegetables
- Check plants for bagworms and
Japanese Beetles use Milky Spore to combat
Japanese beetle,
grub population
- Prune azaleas and rhododendrons
before mid-July so they will have time to
set flower beds
for next year
August:
- Watch out for drought apply water often
and frequent
- Recommend flowering grasses
for beauty and motion
- Apply tick and flea controls
to lawn
- Clean up perennial beds
and plant mums and asters for autumn
