June:

  • Add blooming perennials such daylilies, redbeckia, bleeding hearts and astilbe to landscape
  • Continue to fertilize you lawn and apply summer broadleaf weed control application

July:

  • Harvest vegetables
  • Check plants for bagworms and Japanese Beetles use Milky Spore to combat Japanese beetle, grub population
  • Prune azaleas and rhododendrons before mid-July so they will have time to set flower beds for next year

August:

  • Watch out for drought apply water often and frequent
  • Recommend flowering grasses for beauty and motion
  • Apply tick and flea controls to lawn
  • Clean up perennial beds and plant mums and asters for autumn color
